Three artists occupy the space at THE LOFT Art Studios and Gallery. Kathleen Hunter of Huntress Expressions, is the multiple hat-bearer of this small, eclectic gallery. She teaches jewelry making classes and orchestrates the classes of the other instructors, coordinates Peter’s Perfume Presentations and finds time to create her own art, whether it is jewelry in precious metal clay, pottery, solar printing, oil pastels, etc. Her work is throughout the gallery.


Jacqueline Roliardi, is our energetically charged artist working in oil and pastels. Since being here, she has made some remarkable leaps with her paintings. You can find her paintings throughout the entire gallery. Look for her to teach a class or two this summer!

HAPPENINGS AT THE KIVA CENTER:
I am located in the southeast corner of the Kiva Center at 5th Avenue and Craftsman Court in downtown Scottsdale. There is a rich history of artists’ demonstration studios in the Kiva Center, of fashion shows, celebrity sightings, and personalized perfumes made by the local perfumer since it’s creation in the 1950’s. THE LOFT Art Studios and Gallery is working with the other Kiva Center shop owners to bring that flavor back. These shop owners are individuals who are still part of a rare breed of locally owned merchants that continue to see and feel the beauty of the Kiva Center. A courtyard in the center is actually the front door of THE LOFT. On any given Saturday afternoon, you will find some activity going on in the tree lined Courtyard by the fountain.
