Scottsdale Artwalk - Thursday Evenings
7pm-9pm

The Scottsdale Arts District now has new boundaries and THE LOFT is included in the Artwalks. I am open on specific Thursdays when we have special functions. Be sure to call to see if I am open the evening that you would like to come.

March 19th GLASS ACT FESTIVAL Artwalk

This special Artwalk is a celebration of glass. I will have a few featured artists doing demonstrations. Terry Cook will be enameling, Kathryn Guler will be torch firing, Mary Heldenbrand will demonstrate wire wrapping with glass beads, and Geri Colgrove will bring her marbles! Come see our demonstration!

TEACHING ON THE ROAD:

I have some upcoming opportunities to teach around the community.

March 21st – I am teaming with Artspace (my old home) and Desert Botanical Gardens for a one day workshop that includes lunch. The class will be in the morning, we’ll be making Dichroic Glass Cabochons, have lunch sponsored by Artspace, and in the evening finish the cabochon to make a pendant. Spend the day at Artspace. You’ll have to register for this class at www.dbg.org.

June, 2009 – I am back again at Creative U in the evenings to teach some PMC workshops. Check their schedule at www.creativeuaz.com

Summer, 2009 – I will be teaching a workshop at Mesa Art Center for lampworkers who wish to repair their beads. Check their schedule at www.mesaartscenter.com

I am always looking for opportunities to teach in other places. Usually the summertime is better for me to leave my studio, but can always seem to make arrangements to hold a special event somewhere. I like to work with tour groups for larger group classes at hotels, and will also be available for trunk shows for special events.
