 Raku Pots

Raku is a Japanese inspired method of firing that creates  unpredictable crackle effects in the glazes. After initially firing the  piece in a kiln, it is glazed and fired a second time.

 Raku Treasure Pots

Small, hand carved & lidded vessels give the appearance of  perfection and leaves one to wonder what treasure could be inside!

 Raku Tree Pots

Black silhouetted trees set against a white crackle glaze that shows  tiny  cracks, hinting there are leaves on the trees.

 Pseudo Klimt Series

This is my series of pottery, mostly porcelain, in which I am inspired  by the  bright colors and design patterns of Gustav Klimt. These  pieces are hand  carved and fired multiple times, ranging from high  fire, low fire, and the  really low firing of luster glazes. I have made  some treasure pots in this  series as well.
